Larry was a great man who triumphed over adversity throughout his entire life. He worked hard, and against all odds, he came out on top—a true depiction of the American dream. What are the requirements?

Students eligible for assistance must be graduating high school seniors who reside in Iowa and intend to continue their education at a four year college or university on a full-time basis. Consideration will be given to academic achievement, financial need, and the student’s focused pursuit and long term dedication in an area outside of the general course of study. Students must continue to attend classes and maintain no less than a 3.75 GPA (or equivalent).

What's the maximum award?

Each scholarship awarded will be a maximum of $15,000 annually for a maximum of four years; a total maximum of $60,000.

When is the deadline?

The deadline for application and renewal is April 1st, 2024.

The scholarship applies for a maximum of four years, a standard college tuition length.
