About the Foundation

Larry was a great man who triumphed over adversity throughout his entire life. He worked hard, and against all odds, he came out on top—a true depiction of the American dream. We look to continue his legacy indefinitely with the Larry C. Ballard Scholarship Foundation, and we thank you very much for your consideration in assisting us with its long-term success.

The Larry C. Ballard Scholarship Foundation was his greatest focus during his final years. He worked very hard to create it and outlined student criteria that reflect his work ethic and commitment during his high school years. Larry was adamant about identifying candidates early on in their high school careers, supporting them through their four years of undergraduate schooling, and offering career support following their graduation.
